BLACKTOWN FOOTBALL ACADEMY
The Blacktown Football Academy is fully approved and licensed by Football NSW. Development Coach David Hubbard has put together a detailed agenda which will provide all the necessary skills for young players with various separate competitively priced programmes.
The Under 8s Superkidz is an initiative aimed at recognising young talent and providing extra training. The Academy will hold intakes at regular intervals with no obligation on players or parents to accept an invitation to join the academy.
Our School Holiday Camps will continue to offer the only "all day" football camps specifically aimed at players 8-14. Courses are offered during the first week of school holidays during the football season.
Keith Healey, the Spartans Director of Youth Coaching will again present his specialised Academies for young players in need of that "extra" skill. Sunday sessions are being held at Woodcroft Oval from 9:30am.

Karl Holdsworth Good Guys - Good Sports
Karl Holdsworth's Good Guys are back in 2009 with their Good Guys Good Sports Awards where our weekly winner gets a Good Guys $50.00 gift voucher.
The awards are for players 6-16 and based on six criteria which are Team Play, enthusiam, leadership, cooperation, Contribution and On Field poise and demeanor. Week by week our lucky winners are chosen from nominations and will appear here until the end of the season when Karl Holdsworth will chose his lucky winner whi will receive a $500.00 shopping voucher for the Good Guys in Prospect.
Clubs are encouraged to keep the nominations coming through to reward our players for their good work and leadership.

COACHING
 FNSW and Global Ambition Group will provide to each club and association in NSW a free 12 months membership to the www.globalfootballsystem.com webpage which will provide your club the opportunity to utilise the services and products that are included within the site. The membership must be designated to one key staff member at the club, for example a head coach or technical director. This will provide detailed session plans for the education of the all coaches within the club. The total value of the membership is $99 (inc GST) for 12 months. It is also requested that clubs who obtain the membership provide a link from their webpage to the globalfootballsystem.com webpage so that interested coaches and players can purchase a subscription to their chosen age group.

BDSFA Inc Development Coach, David Hubbard will present a series of coaching updates aimed at improving our Club's Coaches and allowing for the accrual of points required for License renewal. Each session will have a theme and all club head coaches will be notified of the sessions. All coaches are welcome to attend. |
