In line with the BDSFA Inc Coaching Policy, we are pleased to announce a newly accredited Course offered by FFA through Soccer NSW. The Grass Roots Coaching Course is a "one session" fully certificated license which will be excellent for incoming coaches to quickly gain knowledge and ideas on how to organise and hold coaching sessions. Whilst aimed at the Under 6 to Under 10 age groups, the Certificate is sufficient for all amateur coaches as it offers FFA accreditation required by our insurance company. The BDSFA Inc raises funds each year with which we subsidies coaching courses. The Grass Roots Certificate is a one session 3 hours course. Courses will beheld at Francis Park on 29th March 2008 in conjunction with the Small Sided Games Launch. ALL persons wishing to coach a team who do not have a current license MUST attend one of these sessions or cease coaching. NOTE: Your license is current for four (4) years only and may lapse if you have updated or kept your log book current. Attendees must wear joggers, bring a ball, drink bottle, pen and paper. |
