07/160 REFEREE'S REPORT
1. We have a problem with only getting two days notice to attend an Appeals board.
Jack replied - With player appeals our Clubs have until 7:30pm on Wednesday to lodge the appeal, if a player comes to the P & DC you would expect them to appeal. This matter was also discussed last season.
2. Question from Jack - re payment of referee fees to you and not the branch.
Barry replied it was explained in a letter to all clubs. We have a problem as not many clubs have paid their first invoice and the second one will be out soon.

07/161 APPEALS REPORT
1. As tabled
2. No one was in attendance from the Executive committee of Eastern Creek.

It was noted that Barry Walbancke left the meeting

3. Girls in the Workers U13's - I have it in writing from the General Manager from Football NSW that they have no insurance issues and will leave it to us to decide. I feel we should allow them to keep playing as we will lose a team if we don't. MSA That the ladies be allowed to stay until the end of the season.
3. Report from Sydney Branch meeting
4. U10's & U12's KO - Laurie have you looked at a draw yet. No today we have sent out a nomination form with the closing date next Tuesday. Corro#31 discussed re U10 & 12 girls entering the KO. MSA That a Girls U10 or 12 KO not be considered this year.

07/168 COMPETITION SECRETARY'S REPORT

07/169 PRESIDENT'S REPORT
1. Thanks to Dane for filling in for me and thank you to everyone for your support, visits and flowers.

07/170 GENERAL BUSINESS
1. Dane - following on from Barry's report on clubs not sending their payments for referee's. Do the referee's have any way they can make our clubs unfinancial for non payment of fees.
Jack - No they don't. When asked if we would support accounting for referee payments we agreed but said we could not assist further. The Branch could withdraw its services should clubs default.
Discussion - do they realise they may be penalised by the referee's if they haven't been paid. Could we ask the clubs to make sure they pay the invoice or if they have a problem keep the money separate as it doesn't belong to them.
2. Jack - Given the nature of some offenses, the Association should look to its By Laws and ensure that some undesirable players are not accepted for registration in future.
3. Jim - mid week games what happens with send offs. Automatic stand down for their next match - reports for mid week games should come with weekend reports.
The responsibility is on the club to make themselves aware of any mid-week dismissals and dismissals in State Competitions ETC and ensure players are stood down as they will be found ineligible should they play.
