07/201 SECRETARY MANAGERS REPORT
1. Season Suggestions:
The Following ideas were canvassed and discussed.
Play all games
Finish all 8 and 6 team competitions when they have played each other twice.
play all 10 team comps as double headers
play rounds 14 to 18 only - void all missed rounds
Do not play final series - play all rounds - first past the post applies.
Where possible, allocate double headers to home team first, then overflow to other clubs.
Extra Grounds we could use - Woodcroft, Palmyra, Marayong have 2 extra fields, Whalan
Premier and Reserves - play as mid-week catch ups for recovery of players and referees.

Duty of care issues:
O35's should we play catch ups for older players?
recovery time for all players when playing double headers
problems playing younger players next to older players - language issues and balls hitting players on the next field
Referee's availability

Resolved:
Play all games except for O35's
Double Headers round 15 and round 12 - 20th,21st,22nd July
Double Headers round 17 and round 13 - 3rd,4th,5th August
It was noted that if more rounds were lost we could double up on the Semi Finals Series as per 2006 and also play more double headers.
2. We have cancelled the School Holiday camp.
3. Finals Discussion:
The girls and women's Grand Final will be on 16th September at Woodcroft oval
Should we have a separate final for the U14 girls - discussion.
Resolved that it was Minuted in an earlier meeting that the top two teams from each group will contest the final series.
Discussion on playing extra time and penalty shoot outs for U10 to AA.
Resolved that we will play extra time and penalty shoot outs. The U9 will stay as is once the whistle for full time is blown both teams will be joint winners
4. Summer Soccer- Council have a problem with our grounds being used. Our grounds must have time to recover.
We will allow Summer Soccer to be played only if the competition is finished before Christmas. We will be involved with the registration of players and P & DC and rules. Registration of players will be a cost to them of $10 per player.
Dane advised that Blacktown Spartans will not be running Summer Soccer for Roo Ball.
MSA That some rules and guidelines be tabled for discussion next meeting.
5. I had a meeting with Brendan Renaud and it looks like the Terry McFlynn and Robbie Middlebury will stay with our Metro League for 2008. We need to promote Sydney F C with our clubs.
