07/379 TREASURER'S REPORT

2. MSA all outstanding accounts be paid.
07/380 SECRETARY MANAGERS REPORT
1. The following Presentation Invites have been received from Clubs
Eastern Creek Sunday 28th October
St Pats Saturday 20th October (Senior)
St Pats Sunday 21st October (Junior)
Those receiving direct invites, please let Sue know
2. Meeting with Spartans Senior Coach Jeff Sousa, David Hubbard, Dane, Chris.
The Meeting was convened due to changes in conditions on Youth League criteria.
Discussion included need to rationalise senior player payments, fund raising, some coaching expenses. During the meeting is was apparent that we need a coaching philosophy to encompass what the BDSFA expects Spartans to provide to our youth.
3. Meeting FNSW
The following was discussed
1. FFA National Registration Data Base is not ready, after spending over $1m the FFA now realise that they were wrong in the way in which they tried to implement NRDB.
It will be up and running by 2010 and will include "on-line registrations". FFA has asked for our input in designing of a new form which would cover all relevant parties needs, FFA, FNSW, BDSFA and Club. Details have been submitted. Some issues with national ID number.
BDSFA Inc data was downloaded to FNSW to send to FFA last week and evidently it was perfect.
2. FNSW is also in the throws of having a data base made. Almost all associations now use Compman.
3. FFA Youth Development - want to made "small sided" games for 6-10. FNSW asked for interested Associations to volunteer for pilot. I said we would be interested in trying the concept with our incoming 5s or 6s but not as a whole. FFA will help provide coaching support etc. Real Estate could be an issue!
4. High Performance Unit - Not on the agenda but I wanted to raise the issue that the total support of the HPU was completely supported by Associations via Metro League and Female Youth and then the Premier League steals our talent with no input. Suggested that a development Tax be placed on Senior Clubs who do not and will not participate.
5. State Raffle discussed. Large prizes, $2.00 per ticket with selling club retaining $1.50, 30c to FNSW 20c to Association. Only those committed to be involved. I said we would have some clubs interested. Need to respond by months end.
6. I have spoken with Council re new area. The proposed meeting was cancelled as the issues were resolved. Planning and Council have now agreed on who what where. Council's architects now have the planning brief. We will meet again with State Planning and Council.
7. Summer Soccer - Marayong and Riverstone both complying with new conditions, Prospect virtually ignoring emails at this point. P&DC issue with all-in at Marayong with U14s. Jim Neal away til Monday - will discuss that issue with Jim. Need to meet with Prospect on this and other issues. Accounts to be sent to SS clubs when registration finishes. Rivo will end tonight.
8. Fair Play Award - we asked clubs to vote. Suggest we make this an annual event (voting), some responses already received.
9. Premier League Best and Fairest and Golden Boot Awards cancelled through lack of interest by PL teams. Should make compulsory next year with fines and penalties if clubs do not comply.
10. I have written to all FDC with the coaching offer discussed at last MCM.
11. Annual Dinner is currently being organised and will be completed next week. I will arrive late. (See below)
12. End of year reports will be accepted at any time, please report on your field of expertise only.
13. I will be on holidays 13th-26th October.
07/381 VICE PRESIDENT'S REPORT
1. Spartans trial dates and use of Francis Park was tabled
2. Dane thanked everyone who helped at the Spartans Presentation.
3. Letter of thanks moved for Shane Hubbard for his work on the Audio-visuals.
07/382 P & D C REPORT
1. As tabled
2. Noted that Rooty Hill RSL did not attend P&DC on behalf of player. The player had hoped to represented by another player who was already serving a long suspension. P&DC had refused to hear the case without proper representation. This case is still outstanding.
Dane asked if the P&DC could refer the case to the MC instead of holding another P&DC Meting - yes, if they wish.
MSA That Rooty Hill RSL be written to and asked to show cause why fines and penalties should not be imposed.
07/393 REGISTRAR'S REPORT
1. Summer Soccer registrations going OK
07/394 COMPETITION SECRETARY'S REPORT
1. Very pleased with Champion of Champions results so far. Cawarra ran very late due to 2 penalty shoot outs. Much complaining from a senior team.
2. Attended Compman work shop, very good meeting with much to look forward to next season.
07/395 GENERAL BUSINESS
1. Jack tabled letter from Keith Nichol (Council) re people who think soccer fields are public property whilst matches are in progress. (Refer to problem at Hanna earlier in the year). The response has been filed for future reference and will be discussed with clubs next week.
2. Ian mentioned a financial award presented to grass roots team playing their club day at Sydney FC, are our clubs eligible if they attend? - Jack will find out.
3. Champion of Champions home matches this weekend, Laurie, Neville and Marie will manage the day. Attending clubs are asked to help out where they can.
4. Next MCM 3/11/07
