07/401 SECRETARY MANAGERS REPORT

1. Meeting with NSW Planning and Blacktown Council
A brief was tabled by Council regarding planning and construction of the new premises. The time line is 2 years from the time the process starts which will hopefully see us there for season 2010. We will be involved in all planning.
2. Football NSW
I have been elected the FFA Delegate to the National Junior Standing Committee
3. The Club Secretaries have asked for some direction from the MC in regards to Honoraria this season. The discussion was moved to General Business for resolve.
4. Discussion required in regards to the AGM and the election of Secretary. Jack left the meeting to allow open discussion:
MSA That as the role of "Secretary Manager" had been appointed for 3 years there is no need for an election for the position as Secretary.
5. Discussion on length of tenure should new Rule be accepted for 2 year terms.
MSA The following will be elected for a 2 year term at the 2007 election.

Therefore the 2 year term will stand and those standing for election at the 2008 AGM will be standing for a 2 year term.
6. FFA Levies will rise for 2008 to $10.00 per student and $20 per adult. The definition is that all over the age of 18 are adults.
7. FNSW Fees will rise by the CPI.

07/402 VICE PRESIDENT'S REPORT
1. Dane thanked all those who had assisted during trials, all youth boys and girls are completed, U12 currently under way with U11 starting soon. Seniors men and women under way.
2. Thank you to Workers from Sue and I for their hospitality at their Presentation. And thanks to the MC for nominating for the FNSW State Award.

07/404 REGISTRAR'S REPORT
1. Summer Soccer registrations going well, awaiting some more information from two clubs, some problems with Riverstone's programme. Invoices for Summer Soccer registrations will go out next week.

07/405 COMPETITION SECRETARY'S REPORT
1. Thanks to Rooty Hill RSL and Marayong for their hospitality at their Presentations
2. Report on user group meeting for CompMan. Many new features will make the draw much better, includes notification on screen for all changes and visual scheduler.
Some other features discussed as to when they will be implemented

07/406 GENERAL BUSINESS
1. Neville thanked Workers and Marayong for their hospitality at their Presentations.
2. Discussion on BDSFA 2008 fees. MSA That the BDSFA component will rise in conjunction with the CPI. (3.1%)
3. Discussion on registration programme producing bar codes for player re-registration. Resolved that discussion with club is required as some cost is involved.
4. Discussion on mass mail out to 2007 players on behalf of all clubs. Jack to write to clubs.
5. FFA-FNSW Meeting - Laurie Archer and John Boyle attended. Impressed with new CEO of FFA. Explanation of where national levies were spent etc. Good meeting - too long.
6. Jack thanks Dane and Sue for their help in preparing the Annual Dinner and for Dane's help on the night when delayed.
7. Jack - after discussions with other associations, it was noted that many allow player registrations after the current season ends. Move for discussion with clubs as this may help player retention and allow most renewing registration to be completed early.
8. Laurie - Rooty Hill RSL Under 16's made the Grand Finals of the Champion of Champions but were unsuccessful against a very good opposition. Congratulations to the Team and its officials and to Rooty Hill RSL.
9. Discussion on delaying notification of Grand Final Kick Off times until all teams are known to allow games to be set down to let clubs to support all their teams. It was noted as a great idea but more discussion required.
