07/411 SECRETARY MANAGERS REPORT
1. Small sided games presentation from FFA was shown and discussed.
We will implement it for U6's.
Suggestions: Organise and coordinate the first half of the season
BDSFA Co-ordinator on site at all times
Allow one official on the field of play, The FFA advise there should not be a referee.
Field size 20 x 30mt
Game time 30minutes
6 players maximum per team
Group all games
Goals will need to be purchased
Allow coaches to coach two squads
Grade players
Look at Spartans to help with coaching
Further: Keep scores for U8 matches to assist in grading teams, may move teams through the year so that by mid season all teams in one division are reasonably competitive.
2. Affiliation Forms are ready to be sent. Discussion on fee for next season.
MSA that the Affiliation Fee for season 2008 is $370
We have asked clubs that haven't registered for the Employer Identification Number with Department of Sport and Rec. to do so, as it is a requirement of the Affiliation form.
The closing date is 28th November 2007 for Affiliations
3. Trials for U11's started on Tuesday night with 68 players in attendance help is needed.
4. Mobile Accounts - Business Fleet discussed - Jack to investigate further.

Discussion on the vacant positions.
Publicity Officer to be incorporated into the Office duties. We will do that at the February General meeting.
It is disappointing that we don't have a Female Development Person

6. The Office will be closed from the 14th December 2007 till the 7th January 2008.
7. Doug Henretty - has been talent scout for our U10's this year.
MSA Doug to be renumerated for out of pocket expenses. Jack to speak to Doug.

07/413 COMPETITION SECRETARY'S REPORT
1. Thanks to Quakers Hill Junior for a great night at the Senior Presentation.

07/414 PRESIDENT'S REPORT
1. I attended the Sydney Branch dinner on Saturday night it was a good night

07/415 REGISTRAR'S REPORT
1. Clubs will now be billed for their Summer Soccer registrations
FNSW will send us a copy of the clubs Status returns

07/416 GENERAL BUSINESS
1. #Corro-55 New card printer has been looked at that is faster. An agreement has been put to us. Jack to look at.
2. #Corro-58 No funding will be given for advertising.
3. The mail out for clubs is about 50 - 50 we will do it for the clubs that are interested.
4. Season dates discussed.
The season will start on the weekend of 4th, 5th, 6th April 2008 and the final round on 8th, 9th, 10th August with one weekend off being the June long weekend. If any rounds are washed out games will be played as double headers.
The Grand Final weekend will be 30th, 31st August 2008. We may need to look at holding the girls on a different weekend but we wont know until team nominations are done.
Team nominations close on Monday 10th March 2008.
We will force the rules with two up two down for team grading.
5. Player's registration fees tabled and discussed. They will be given out next week.
6. Dane - 30th Birthday Dinner - 30th October if the venue is available. Band and comedian to be booked.
MSA that we purchase size 1 soccer balls for the evening.
7. Dane - Competition for our new logo when will that done.
We could put it on our website.
8. There was a new suburb announced on the radio, can we check with council to see if a football field will be in the planning.
9. Les - do we have anything in our rules for the Best and Fairest and Goal scorer awards. No
10. Laurie - Electronic team sheets, email them to the clubs
Discussion - we could test it on a club to see if it will work
11. Roo Ball Gala day - we could have a petting zoo and the snake man attend. Jack to check if our Insurance would cover them.
12. Under 10's and 12's KO will be held next year and also a U12 girls KO.
Schofields Scorpions have not returned the U12's KO trophy
