MINUTES OF THE MEETING HELD 23/01/2008 AT FRANCIS PARK

08/010 The meeting has been called to discuss and finalise SSG.
• We will meet with the clubs next Wednesday 30th January .
• We have asked the referee's to supply the more experienced referee's to start the year.
• The orientation day will be held at Francis Park on 29th March 2008
• We will have two sessions and start each session with a Grass Roots course for all coaches. This is compulsory for all new U6 roo ball coaches
• Games will start after each grass roots course
• We will ask the FFA for assistance, FNSW Paul Bentvelzen and the Sydney FC guys.
• We will hire a PA system
• do a recording of what is happening so nothing is missed out.
• Access to Francis Park and signs
• Another day at one venue
• Find out if Francis Park No 1 is available for both days
• Club coaches to be invited
• Stage it in geographical areas for 4 weeks so it is easier for our the MC or whoever to get to grounds if anything goes wrong.
• Training policy for SSG

08/011 The minutes of the previous meeting were read and accepted.
Matters Arising: #08/008-2 MSA that we appoint John Boyle and Ian McCutcheon as the SSG Liaison Officers. John accepted and we waiting to hear from Ian.

1. Accept the laws of the game from the FFA booklet.

1. Team Points new By-law was discussed
2. MSA that the new By-law is accepted with agreed amendments

08/018 VICE PRESIDENT'S REPORT
1. Rep teams are returning to training.
2. Spartans Club Day is 10th February - help is needed as we run a mini canteen. The day starts at 8:00am and will be finished by midday.

08/019 GENERAL BUSINESS
1. I have sourced signs like we had on grand final day to promote registration's have started. MSA that we hire the signs for three weeks.
