Matters Arising: Nil

08/049 MSA suspend standing orders to deal with team gradings.
Jack -We have only had 14 clubs that have sent through a data synch so it is impossible to support many of the letters received for re-grading teams.
Every season the MC meets to grade teams and tries to adhere to the rules as best we can. Every season we have clubs who purposely enter teams in divisions lower than that to which they should.
If some ages don't need changing I think we should leave it as the clubs have graded them into divisions.
We do have the rule this year that they play 18 rounds, so it doesn't matter how many teams are in a division.
I suggest we ensure there are no 6 team competitions with a bye and accept what the clubs have tendered in the first instance and only concentrate on those divisions with real problems.
It was noted that Dane joined the meeting

AAM : MSA to make a seventh division and move all down. 1st Division needed some additions which was completed with information from 2007.
AAL division 1 had 4 nominations, and AAL 2 had 6, MSA that AAL 1 & 2 be joined together for the competitions and separated for the finals, there will not be a division 2. Divisions 3 and 4 stay as is.

Girls U10's one division, U12's and U14's stay as nominated. U16-1 and the three U18 girls teams joined together and will be separated for the finals. U16-2 stay as nominated
Discussion on the girls playing one after each. Laurie believes it wont work.
Jack we should assign parks for FDC.
Further discussion ensued.

08/053 CORRESPONDENCE OUT
1. Replies to emails

08/054 TREASURER'S REPORT
1. As tabled
2. MSA all outstanding accounts be paid.
3. All club accounts are now due. If they are not received by Friday 5:00pm fines will apply as per the rules.

08/055 SECRETARY MANAGERS REPORT
1. O35 and Premier League meeting notes tabled.
2. I attended the Junior standing committee meeting and the main discussion was SSG as it was to be a pilot project only with a review at the end of the season.
3. At my wits end with what to do with our clubs, we seem to have 8 -10 clubs who respond to every request and the rest just ignore. We will work harder to improve communications.
4. ID Cards print discussed. We have only 14 data synchs and of them only 4 are of reasonable size and completion. We can only print cards with the information requested and it seems communications at some clubs level is negligible.
MSA No ID cards will be printed if we haven't received FFA numbers and/or paperwork for FFA, and all team grades information has been entered.
Each team must have a coach and manager and clubs must check the "WWC" on their CMPRegister programme.

08/056 VICE PRESIDENT'S REPORT
1. As tabled
2. Thanks to everyone for all the help over the last two weekends.
3. Francis Park will be open this weekend if anyone can help.

08/057 P & D C REPORT
1. As tabled.

08/058 GENERAL BUSINESS
1. MSA that all Data syncs must be at the Office by 5:00pm Friday 28th March 2008 for ID cards to be printed
2. Discussion on SSG played at Nepean. Is there a set size for the goals. No.
There was an issue with no goal keepers.
The referees did some strange things.
3. Parklea had an in house gala day and advise us where we had gone wrong. We shouldn't have referee's. I advised them that the original format did not have referees and it was voted at a meeting that all clubs wanted referee's.
4. Jim advised that the referee's branch complained about the portable goals and that they may ban them. Jack will write to referees re the Goal Post Safety Standard.
5. Meeting next week for Head coaches of all clubs, David will address them.
