N. TOOMEY, J. NEAL, L. SMITH, J. BROOKS, J. BOYLE.
APOLOGIES Nil
Ian advised the committee that Ian McCutcheon has stood down due to work and family commitments.
08/079 MSA suspend standing orders to meet with the Referee's Branch
Question form the referee's how much do an U6 roo ball referee get paid?
Jack replied the format is that two matches are set down for one time slot - therefore both matches pay their fees in full. $17.00 for the whole game
Jack advised about the guidelines for SSG
There are no rules as such, but we have decided that once a goal has been scored the ball will be taken back to the half way. We have kick ins not throw ins and when a ball has gone dead the kick in must happen between the goal and side lin.
Question about the 17 & 18's - We decided that it was a 17 competition.
Question about the new team sheet this year.
Jack advised that it is the same team sheet as last year and we have asked the clubs to complete the team sheet alphabetically.
Issued raised with referee not allowing substitutes because of their position on the team sheet.
Resolved that Premier League, as the only division playing with substitution will enter their first 11 alphabetically and then their substitutes, also in alphabetical order, as 12-16
Issue raised by clubs in regards to referee allowing wedding rings - resolved that the rule will be adhered to, no jewellery whatsoever is allowed.
Issue raised by clubs in regard to undergarments. In particular one referee deciding a colour was not allowed whilst the opposition wore various colours.
Resolved that referees would be asked to use common sense.
Jack - We are very disappointed that a referee has returned this year that we had a official complaint on and where told by your branch that it would be dealt with but as yet we haven't been advised if it has been.
Jack - do you have enough referee's
Peter - we are having another course at the moment.
Jack - we still don't receive your appointments.
Robert - go onto our web site and register.
