The Blacktown Football Academy is Licensed through Football NSW annually after meeting their strict standards including programme and staff accreditation levels.
The Academy is overseen by BDSFA's Development Coach, Paul Constantini and highly qualified Coaching Staff from Blacktown Spartans, our Elite arm.
Entry to the Academy is by invite only following trials. Other than the cost of a uniform, there are NO fees payable for entry into the Academy.
Blacktown Football The Academy offers programmes for talented players with a view to completing their skill levels and assisting in their career towards inclusion in the Blacktown Association's Metropolitan League Under 11s and 12s. and Spartans Under 12 Girls. The male U11 and 12 age group representative competition is open only to Association Teams and then only to players residing within the boundaries of the Association. (Or having played all their Junior Football continuously within the Association)
The Metropolitan League and Spartans U12 and 14 Girls are partnered through the Football NSW "High Performance Unit" to provide a direct pathway to the State Teams.
Entry into Blacktown Spartans starts at Under 12s for Female Players and Under 13 for Males. Together with Blacktown Spartans, the BDSFA Inc offers a complete pathway in football for players of both sexes from cradle to grave by offering one of the largest football structures in Australia.
